Every injector is individually spray tested and visually inspected for atomization quality, leak down, and electrical resistance. Poor spray patterns cause rough idle and misfires — problems that don't show up in flow data alone.

Flow Rate Analysis

Precision flow testing measures each injector's output in cc/min against the full set. We calculate variance across all cylinders. The industry generally allows for 5% in marine applications, but we shoot for 4%.

What if an injector can't be cleaned to spec?

We show you the result on your diagnostic report and we don't charge for that injector. The rest of the set still gets the full service, and we'll point you toward a replacement or rebuilt unit if one's a good fit.

Do I need a printer to ship my injectors in?

No. The UPS QR code we email lives on your phone, and any UPS counter scans it and prints the label for you. If you'd rather print at home, the PDF works too, or grab the paper form and ship with the carrier of your choice.

How long does the whole round trip take?

Plan on about a week door to door. UPS Ground typically runs two to three business days each way, with our 48-hour service window in between. Need it faster? Call us before you ship and we'll work out the timing.

Are parts included in the service price?

Yes. New o-rings, seals, filter baskets, teflon rings, and pintle caps go on every injector we clean, itemized at cost on your invoice. One per-injector price covers cleaning, testing, parts, and the diagnostic report.

Do you service diesel injectors?

No. Diesel injectors run at far higher pressures (commonly 20,000+ psi for common-rail systems) and require specialized high-pressure test equipment we don't operate. We focus on gas marine fuel injectors: outboards plus standard top-feed inboards like MerCruiser and Volvo Penta gas. For diesel work, look for a shop that specifically advertises common-rail or HEUI service.
